Little Yabba Droughtmaster Stud

Robbie Belling (Stud Manager), John Belling (Owner), Tom Gould (Cattle Assistant), Marlene Belling (Owner).

History:

Little Yabba Droughtmasters started on a small block on Yabba Creek (hence the name Little Yabba), Imbil, Queensland in mid 1998 with a small herd bought at local sales.

1999 saw the purchase of the historic Lorrensen family farm on the outskirts of Gympie which was rapidly transitioned into a first class stud farm.

Another farm was purchased in 2001 on the outskirts of Gympie bringing the total to 1100 acres held by Little Yabba.  The herd originally consisted of Par-Deux-Park breeding, purchased from a foundation stud owned by Rod Towner of Laidley.

The herd now consists of a wide range of genetics from a number of leading studs.

Currently we are running approximately 220 breeders with an overall herd of 450 head.

2005 saw a further expansion with the purchase of another farm on the outskirts of Murgon (250 acres).

Bulls and females always available for purchase.

We welcome visitors to our farms to view our cattle but please call first to arrange a suitable time.
